The wrecks in the west

Western Australia has a rich history when it comes to ship wrecks. In the 17th century s few ships of the Dutch East India Company hit reefs off the coast of Western Australia. The horrific story of the Batavia, that struck a reef on the Abrolhos's Wallabi Group, is probably the most well known story. Luckily for divers, there are also many wrecks that are still perfect for scuba diving.
