Diving the Centurion
In 1864 the Centurion was built in Aberdeen, Scotland as a wooden clipper. She sank in 1887 and today there's not much left of the original ship. The site contains a few things that do make this an interesting dive. You can still see the remains of the masts, timber and beams, the anchor chain and ballast. You can also find a lot of fish on the wreck site.
The remains of the Centurion are lying 18 meters deep on a sandy bottom in Sydney Harbour just off Quarantine Point.
