The dive sites of the Tasman Peninsula
On the Tasman Peninsula are a few fantastic dive sites like the Waterfall Bay Caves and Hippolyte Rocks. It's also possible to make a dive on the shipwreck of the SS Nord, a large ship that struck an uncharted reef and sunk in 1915. This peninsula has a lot of little bays and because of the shape it's possible to dive whenever you like. It's always possible to find a sheltered dive site. Ons of the most popular spots for scuba diving is Cathedral Cave.

The Waterfall Bay Caves dive sites are regarded as Australia's best ocean cave dive sites. Cathedral cave is one of the most visited caves of the Waterfall Bay Caves. It's a beautiful cave about 30 meters long and approximately 21 meters deep. The walls of the cave are covered with colourful invertebrates and sponges. There are three openings through which the cave can be entered.
The caves all undercut the cliffs and some of them require cave dive training before it's safe enough for you to enter.
Fortescue Bay
This is a very nice dive spot that is accessible from the shore. You can also use the damaged boat ramp. You can find cowfish and jackass morwong and many more other fish at this site. There's a wreck you can see at the southern part of the bay.
