Diving in Australia's Natural State
On Tasmania you can experience four seasons in one day. The summers are nice and temperatures can vary between 14ºC and 24ºC. The winters are much cooler and then you're talking about temperatures between 6ºC and 14ºC. It may sounds strange, but wintertime is the best time to go scuba diving in Tasmanian waters, because the water is more clear than in summer. The seas are also calmer and the weather is more stable. The giant kelp forest, caves, rocks, shipwrecks and sponge gardens will be the perfect decor for lots of memorable dives. Also the marine life you'll see under water such as seals, dolphins, whales, leafy and weedy sea dragons, lots of fish and invertebrates will make you understand why so many people go to Tasmania for scuba diving each year.
