The Sunshine State

Australia's most popular tourist destination isn't called The Sunshine State for nothing! Because of the tropical climate scuba diving is possible the whole year round. Queensland's coast is around 5208 kilometer long and has more than 230 different dive sites. From the most northern part of Queensland on the Cape York Peninsula with the Quetta wreck site and Cairns to the most southern part near Brisbane and North Stradbroke Island. And what about the largest coral reef in the world? The Great Barrier Reef is a truly magnificent place to dive. A little further to the south are the Whitsunday Islands with the whitest beach in the world, Whitehaven Beach. Flinders Reef is the best spot in South East Queensland to go for a dive if you love coral reefs.
