The dive sites of the Northern Territory
The Northern Territory wouldn't be a logical choice to go scuba diving for lots of people. The Territory has a reputation for being very hot and covered with red desert sand. A very big part of the Territory is exactly like that, but the Top End isn't. Because of the monsoons in the summer the Top End gets lots of rain and is very humid.
Darwin has lots of shipwrecks form World War II that are perfect for scuba diving, but there are also some very nice reefs in the are you can explore.
