The divesites of Jervis Bay
Each year thousands of people enjoy Jervis Bay with its white sandy beaches. It's also the perfect place to do some bushwalking or watch the birds from the high cliffs.
In and around Jervis Bay a some fantastic dive sites. The dive shops are located in Huskisson and this is the place to be if you want to do a boat dive.
Smugglers Cave
The entrance of Smugglers Cave lies in about 10 to 13 meters of water and this cave is around 150 meters long. The light from the entrance can be seen at all times and it's a dive site that can be enjoyed by divers of all levels. It's a wide cave with lots of sponges and Gorgonian fans.
The Arc
This beautiful dive site consists a natural bridge. The base of this arch is in around 38 meters of water and the top is in 28 meters. At this dive site you can see a lot of colourfull marine life like reef fish and wobbegongs.
Stoney Creek
One of the most exciting dive sites of Jervis Bay is Stoney Creek. You must be an experienced diver to dive this site, because it's not only deep (dropping from 25 meters to more than 60 meters deep), but the current also affects this dive site.
There are a lot of invertebrates to be found as well as lots of reef fish. Gorgonians, anemones and sponges are growing on the rock walls of Stoney Creek.
